Les miroirs en molybd\u00e8ne peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans des environnements difficiles. Ils ont une longue dur\u00e9e de vie, une grande capacit\u00e9 de charge, une surface qui ne n\u00e9cessite pas de rev\u00eatement et qui r\u00e9siste \u00e0 l'essuyage. Il poss\u00e8de d'excellentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s optiques et thermiques, ainsi qu'une grande r\u00e9flectivit\u00e9. Elle pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement un seuil de dommage laser \u00e9lev\u00e9, capable de supporter une densit\u00e9 de puissance \u00e9lev\u00e9e, avec un rev\u00eatement de surface ferme qui ne tombe pas facilement et r\u00e9siste \u00e0 l'essuyage.
